Welcome! My name is Alex Hanold. I am both extremely nervous and excited to introduce you to my new endeavor, Sketch Forward! This idea started as a means to hold myself accountable creatively, to push myself as an artist and writer past what I have allowed myself to be capable of to this point. It is something born of the desire to have a greater purpose and accomplish things that I can be proud of. With Sketch Forward, I will be chronicling my journey to live up to my creative potential and share what I learn along the way.

I hope that you will join me as I will be blogging about Illustration, Writing, Graphic Design, the Business of Art, and ways to Motivate and Inspire that creative energy within. In addition, I will be writing review on any art/media exhibitions or conventions I attend as well as reviews on books I have read and products I have used that have helped me in my journey and could be useful to others.
